Silage Pit repair -working example

IMG_0176< Over time the concrete surface of a silage pit
is often found to have been eaten away by chemical action. Especially the base of wall and channels. To repair the pit Botament offers a number of solutions. From the repair mortars to rebuilt missing concrete, sealing tapes to reinforce the important wall to floor connection to protective coating to seal the surface from future damage.
In the case of this 15 year old pit , the following 4 steps where taken

1. The surface is cleaned thoroughly.
2. Concrete repair mortar was applied to build out all gaps.
3. A scratch/primer coat of Botament RD2 was applied to surface.
4.After, Botament UV2 chemical resistant coating is painted to top surface.
